Our client, a commercial real estate company, wanted to increase their digital presence and drive new relevant leads through their website. Their main objectives were to increase traffic to and conversions from the website. 

The Strategy

Our team started with a high level strategy, then created a tactical plan to align back to the strategy. From there, we prioritized tactical elements to maximize impact. Tactical elements included social media content, paid social media ads, paid search, local search and search engine optimization. 

While all of the tactics were successful, our search engine optimization strategy has been the most fruitful after two years. What’s the secret to our success? Taking our time! In the last two years, we have: 

  • Run quarterly technical audits and solved for any issues identified
  • Optimized existing onsite content and focused on internal linking opportunities. 
  • Created and implemented a content strategy to create relevance for specific keywords. Created 2-3 new pieces of content each month. 
  • Implemented a review strategy and optimized the Google My Business page. 

The Payoff

In two years we have seen impressive growth across multiple key performance indicators. For example, when comparing May 2019 (program start) to May 2021 we see: 

  • Total Conversions are up 266.67% 
  • New users on the website are up 6.4% 
  • Traffic to property pages are up 85.39%
  • Average time on page is up 43.98%
  • SEO traffic is up 160%
  • SEO conversions are up 300% 

In addition to seeing impact on the website, our efforts have paid off in Google as well! When we started, our client ranked for 419 keywords (9 in first three positions, 33 in position #4-#10). Now, they rank for 1.1K keywords (37 in first three positions, 120 in positions #4-#10).
