Positions Available:

Office Manager

At this time, we are looking to add an organized and focused Office Manager to our group of talented professionals here in Cleveland. As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for: 

  • Accounts receivable/accounts payable/collection statements/payment processing
  • Quarterly taxes
  • Managing EDGE and FBE certifications
  • Credit applications/W-9 forms/new vendor setup
  • Managing project management documents/company store inventory
  • Create and submit estimates and purchase orders 
  • Occasional product research for clients, mail pick-up and delivery, etc.
  • Banking reconciliation
  • Reporting sales tax
  • Payroll for 1099 contractors and Annual 1099’s
  • CRM/tool management
  • Manage digital files via Box

The right candidate will have 3+ years experience with Quickbooks, 1+ year of experience with accounts receivable/accounts payable and most importantly, a positive attitude! 

Please note that 80% of this job will be completed from your home, so you must have a working phone and internet. There is an opportunity for this position to move to a west side office location in the foreseeable future.

Job Type: Part-time, estimating about 20 hours per week

Graphic Designer and WordPress Developer

The Markey Group is currently seeking a graphic designer and WordPress expert to join our team. The ideal candidate is client-focused, deadline-driven, organized, open to feedback, and flexible. In addition to having excellent design skills, we are looking for someone who is passionate about web technology, problem-solving, and creatively using the WordPress platform. 

Our design team is very collaborative, so this candidate should be open and willing to work in this environment. Throughout the day, you will work with our team to manage multiple design projects from concept through completion.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Front-end technologies (such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery)
  • Back-end technologies (such as PHP)
  • Debugging tools (such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug)
  • Website creation tools (WordPress)
  • Knowledge of industry trends
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • A diverse portfolio with examples of work in branding, print, web design and development
  • WordPress experience – including maintaining existing, building new, designing and developing websites 
  • Comfortable training clients on how to use WordPress 
  • Comfort in presenting design concepts

Independent Sales Contractor

Independently manage own book of business for sales in the marketing/branding industry. Requires calling on a variety of potential customers, ranging from independent contractors to Fortune 500 companies. The candidate should be skilled in all aspects of sales, including: lead generation, phone solicitation, in-person meetings, project management, as well as forward thinking and the development of a business/sales plan. This position requires not only sales experience, but also the ability to solve problems and develop creative solutions for customers to meet their individual needs while delivering top notch customer service on a consistent basis.
