Local search marketing consists of claiming and optimizing your business’s online listings so that you show up in relevant local searches. Local search is not difficult, but when it’s done right, it puts your business on the map so local consumers find you when they need your products or services.This is a huge win for any small business!
Idea #2: Ask for email addresses.
I can’t remember the last time I went through a line in a retail store and the cashier didn’t ask me for my email address, and you know, I never say no. Do the same thing online, too.
Once you have the customer’s email address, you can send them emails that let them know about new promotions, specials and products. You can also use those email addresses on Facebook as well!
Idea #3: Implement a review strategy
Remember those email’s we just talked about? You can also use those emails them to ask for more online reviews!
In addition to helping you show up in local search results (reviews are included in the ranking algorithm), reviews have also proved to affect the purchase decision in that customers attest to spending more money with a business that has positive reviews.
Idea #4: Build that social media strategy
It’s 2018, so you can’t avoid social media anymore. Almost everyone uses it, so you should be too, no matter what type of business you own.
