After 365+ days of the pandemic here in America and a fairly quick and effective vaccine rollout, many businesses are slowing proceeding back to work.

While some offices have adopted a hybrid model, others are planning a full return in the coming weeks and months. No matter how you return, we anticipate it will take your employees some time to adjust. Encouraging an easy transition will help employees find the right balance and also help them reacclimate to “office” protocols.

Looking for ways to make that transition easier for your employees? We can help! Whether you want to give them a warm welcome back or offer guidelines and information to help them remember the office rules – promotional items are a great solution.

Here are some of our favorite ideas:

1. Masking Up

As your teams return to work, your number one priority is the health and safety of your employees. Help them navigate “the new normal” with branded gifts such as face masks, hand sanitizer, UV Phone chargers, water bottles and coffee mugs for their desk.

While this isn’t exactly a promotional item you would gift your employees, we also recommend social distancing signs and decals to help enforce best practices!

2. Brightening the commute

One year ago, many people were accustomed to a commute each morning and evening. In March of last year, the commute shortened from bedroom to kitchen or in some cases, bed to desk!

As offices reopen, it may feel strange to resume the daily commute – but you can help by offering them options to make it easier. For example, a branded backpack, hand sanitizer for the car, or a new car charger with your company logo.

3. General Items

Nothing screams warm welcome more than a blanket or a sweatshirt that can be left at work throughout the week. We love items that make a cold office more comfortable!

We also feel strongly that all tech items are great options for use in the office. Charging pads, mouse pads, AirPods – the options are endless.

We also love the idea of a “Welcome Back to the Office” kit. Consider a customized box with relevant items, for example: a new plant for their desk, a UV phone charger, a new sweatshirt and pen. We know your employees would love that kind of attention.

Obviously, this is new territory for all and there is not a specific template for the most “successful” return to work strategy. That said, your employees will feel welcomed and encouraged with a small gift from you!
