If you are reading this, we can only assume you are launching a new product, service or business. Congratulations! We know how exciting this time can be.

Presumably you have started a robust marketing strategy. Television, radio, social media – these are great ways to create awareness of a new product, service or brand. Have you also considered promotional products? If not, you should! Did you know that after receiving a promotional product, 85 percent of people did business with the advertiser?

Promotional products can play a huge part in creating awareness around a launch. We have a few ideas on how you can incorporate promotional products into your marketing plan:

Trade shows

Trade shows may be on hold right now, but virtual trade shows are not!

Research a tradeshow you would typically attend and ask for a list of attendees from the prior year. This is a great way to get a list of prospects! Send them some swag to create awareness about your new venture.

Employees

A study showed a growth in sales of about 40% once promotional products were used as gifts to an employee.

This makes sense! Your employees are your biggest brand advocates, both at industry events like trade shows and in their daily life outside of the office. We love the idea of gifting your employees with quality branded apparel, allowing them to wear it with pride.

Giveaways

Use your social media channels to drum  up interest with a giveaway! Be creative, fill  a backpack with items or give away multiple smaller branded products. Ask users to like or share your content to enter! If you have newer channels with less followers, you can ask partners/influencers to promote with a giveaway on their channel.

Holiday Gifting

This is an easier way to create awareness of your new product or service (not so much a brand new business). As we approach a special holiday or the end of the year, think about a way you can thank your clients for their business while also raising awareness of your new venture.

We love the idea of a thank you gift with details about up and coming ideas included. Maybe a notebook with information on the first page or a Yeti with coffee beans and a book about the new product. There are so many different options!

We would love to hear more about your venture – please feel free to contact us for a free 30 minute marketing session!
